Insights into USDA Grants & Programs: SARE and NRCS
Lais McCartney with North Central Sustainable Agriculture, Research and Education (SARE) will join us to provide insights into the SARE Grants. Lais will share timelines, strategies, and tips on how to successfully apply for SARE grants. SARE grant applications open in the fall and are due November – December.
Will Fett and Cara Bergschneider with the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will share and discuss the programs, resources, and grants available for farmers through NRCS, along with loans from Farm Service Agency, financial assistance for conservation from NRCS and value-added producer grants from Rural Development.
