Produce Safety Alliance Grower (PSGA) training is for Indiana fruit and vegetable growers, specifically farmers market vendors and market managers interested in learning more about produce safety. Participants will learn about the Food Safety Modernization Act (FISMA), Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and co-management of natural resources and food safety.
The cost of this training is covered by the Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice for Indiana farmers and farmers market managers through an Indiana Department of Health, Food Safety Division Grant.

Thursday, February 8, 2024 – In Person Training at the Hancock County Extension Office (620 Apple St, Greenfield, IN 46140). From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (ET). Lunch is provided. Registration closes 10-days before training.

Saturday, February 24, 2024 – Virtual Training. From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (ET) and you must be on camera the entire time to receive a certificate. Registration closes 10-days before training.
