The Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice is hosting a virtual Produce Safety Alliance Growers (PSAG) Training on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 with the Safe Produce Indiana Training Team. PSAG training is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

PSAG training is for Indiana fruit and vegetable growers, especially, farmers who grow produce and sell at farmers markets and want to learn about produce food safety.  Market managers are welcome to attend. Topics covered include, Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), co-management of natural resources, food safety and the new water ruling.

The cost for this training is covered by the Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice with a grant from the Indiana Department of Health, Food Safety Division.

Registration closes April 6th. Materials will be shipped to all participants. Zoom meeting link will be sent by the Safe Produce Indiana Team.
