The Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice is hosting a virtual Produce Safety Alliance Growers (PSAG) Training on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 with the Safe Produce Indiana Training Team. PSAG training is online from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

Produce Safety Alliance Grower (PSGA) training is for Indiana fruit and vegetable growers, specifically, farmers market vendors and market managers interested in learning more about produce food safety. Participants will learn about the Food Safety Modernization Act (FISMA), Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and co-management of natural resources and food safety.

The cost of this training is covered by the Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice for Indiana farmers and farmers market managers through an Indiana Department of Health, Food Safety Division Grant.

Registration closes June 14th. Materials will be shipped to all participants. Zoom meeting link will be sent by the Safe Produce Indiana Team.
