The Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice is hosting a virtual Produce Safety Alliance Grower (PSAG) Training on June 6, 2024 with the Safe Produce Indiana Training Team.
PSAG training is for Indiana fruit and vegetable growers, specifically, farmers who sell at farmers markets interested in learning about produce safety. Market Managers are welcome to attend. Topics covered include the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety.
The cost of this training is covered by the Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice with a grant from the Indiana Dept. of Health, Food Safety Division.
