The Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice is hosting Produce Safety Alliance Grower Trainings (PSAG) on November 30, 2023 with the Safe Produce Indiana Training Team.. PSAG training is for Indiana fruit and vegetable growers, specifically farmers market vendors and market managers, interested in learning about produce safety. Topics covered include the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety.

The training is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (ET) at the Purdue Extension Food Safety Training Hub in Vincennes, IN (4207 N. Purdue Rd, Vincennes, IN 47591). Lunch will be provided.

The cost of this training is covered by the Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice with a grant from the Indiana Dept. of Health, Food Safety Division.  Registration ends November 20, 2023.
