The Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice is hosting Produce Safety Alliance Grower (PSAG) Trainings on February 8, 2024 with the Safe Produce Indiana Training Team in Greenfield, IN at the Hancock County Fairgrouds (620 Apple St, Greenfield, IN 46140) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (ET). Lunch will be provided.
PSAG training is for Indiana fruit and vegetable growers, specifically, farmers who sell at farmers markets and market managers who are interested in learning about produce safety. Topics covered include the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety.
The cost of this training is covered by the Indiana Farmers Market Community of Practice with a grant from the Indiana Dept. of Health, Food Safety Division.
